Who else hates the Ipod nano armband?

I need an armband, because I go to the gym, so I was forced to get the ipod armband. But I can’t easily use the control wheel, especially for the volume, which is so important.

Bestbuy has a couple, but they’re no good either.
Anyone know when they’ll come out with a better one?

They even stopped making armbands for my mini, which is part of the reason I decided to buy a new one.

How can I carry my phone and my ipod while I run?

I have a Blackberry Curve and an iPod Mini (but I might be getting a new iPod… Touch, maybe?). Either way, I have a phone and an iPod. I’ve seen armbands that I can put my iPod in but is there one that’s made for an iPod AND a phone? Is there any other way I can carry my phone other than in my hand? I don’t own shorts with pockets – I have sweatpants that do, but my phone has came out while running before and I’m scared of breaking it.

*I know they make shorts / pants with zippered pockets and such but I hate to wear the same pair of shorts or pants every time I run or workout… and I don’t want to spend the money on new clothes :[

I agree with another poster here, you really don’t need your cellphone. Just use common sense and don’t do anything like charge in front of a car and you’ll be fine. If you get mugged or raped, I really don’t see how a cellphone would help anyway.

As for the iPod, just get an armband!
