How do you jailbreak an iPod Touch 3G, 3.1.3 firmware, MC model?

I have looked all over the internet for it but the youtube videos I have found aren’t very helpful. And I know it’s not impossible to jailbreak because my friend did it and i dont know how the heck he did it. And he also told me that he DIDN’T downgrade the firmware to 3.1.2, then jailbreak that then somehow have the 3.1.3 version jailbreaked. If someone knows how, please let me know.

3.0 firmware for iPhone and iPod Touch now available

Available since a few days for download for developers, the time to check its compatibility with existing or new programs, the firmware 3.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch is now available to all.

Apple has changed the security settings of the 3.0 firmware to prevent the “jailbreak”, ie piracy to install the unofficial applications. But obviously, this has not prevented the iPhone Dev Team, a group of independent developers, to harm the security of the 3.0 firmware promising for the weekend software to further automate this process.

Apple did not say what time the update is expected to be rolled out, but original iPhone and iPhone 3G users will be able to download it using iTunes. Customers with an iPod Touch will be able to download OS 3.0 , but will have to pay $9.99. 

Apple also introduced ‘Find my iPhone’ which can locate your iPhone anywhere in the world using MobileMe. A message can be displayed on the iPhone with a custom message such as “Help, I have lost my owner, if found, please call (555) 123-4567. The iPhone also comes with a ‘kill switch’ which allows the user to destroy all the data on their iPhone remotely if not found, cleaning personal data off, which can be restored through the backup on iTunes later.

It is worth noting that if Apple, with its 3.0 firmware, gave the departure of top service push notifications, supposedly better than the programs in the background, very few programs draw yet part . This is particularly true of the game Tap Tap Revenge.
Apple also introduced zipcar, a neat application that shows you a map of available zipcar locations. The application also includes a horn and unlock feature, that actually activate your cars horn and unlocks your doors with a click of your iPhone or iPod Touch.

i just got my old ipod touch replaced and it came in box with 3.1.3 firmware (ipod Touch 2G (CM))
and i want to jail break it (my old 3.1.2 was jail broken…) so can it happen? or is it too late? and i am not gonna upgrade it to 4.0 and don’t know how to downgrade it to 3.1.2 so im stuck with 3.1.3 and don’t know hot to jail break…
