today i bought a new computer and downloaded itunes and i plugged in my ipod and nothing happened.

any help???

You could back it up or there’s a free trial software that transfers everything from your ipod to the new itunes

I recently bought a new computer …(iPod/iTunes question)?

I bought new computer. The old one crashed hard (blue screened to death). I had all my music on an external hard drive (thankfully). BUT, when I downloaded iTunes to the new computer and transferred the 9,000+ songs to itunes all my playlists were gone. I was wondering….
- What will happen when I finally sync my iPod to the new computer ? (I have not synced since buying the new computer)
- How do I keep/save a playlist in iTunes ?

Sorry to break it to you…but all your songs will go away. It’s happened to me numerous times. I have gotten viruses about two times and each time I had to wipe my whole entire computer clean. Therefore I lost all files, pictures, etc. I also lost all my music. I was extremelyyyy annoyed but I just had to download all my music again. So i would have suggested burning all your music to cds but since your computer is broken and you have a new one, i don’t think you can get your music back. =/ sorry.
